Participants learn to oversee the collection, management and analysis of large datasets and communicate results for evaluation and decision processes.

The curriculum combines advanced statistical methodologies with data management and multidisciplinary teamwork.

The announcement links demand for these skills to wider use of information systems, artificial intelligence and advanced analytical tools, which make more data available to public organizations.

Who can apply and when

Italian and international graduates may apply if they have a suitable background in statistics and information technology.

Eligible qualifications are a four-year degree under the previous Italian university system, a master's degree under Ministerial Decree 270/2004 or a specialist degree under Ministerial Decree 509/1999.

Applications must be submitted through the master's programme website by November 13, 2026.

Its scope extends beyond analysis to communicating results for public decisions.

The Italian-language requirement applies to a course open to both Italian and international graduates.
