Banca d'Italia has initiated the sale of its property in Nuoro, Sardinia, setting a base price of €1.6 million. The multi-purpose building, located at Viale Europa 1, includes banking, commercial, and residential units.

Banca d'Italia is selling its property at Viale Europa 1 in Nuoro, Sardinia.

Built in the mid-1960s, the complex is located near the historic city center in a well-developed commercial area.

It features a mixed-use designation, including credit institution, commercial, and residential spaces, spread across four above-ground floors, a basement, and an attic.

The total commercial area is approximately 2,687 square meters, comprising 1,666 sqm for commercial use and 1,021 sqm for residential.

The property includes one credit institution unit, four apartments, four storage rooms, one company staff room, and an electrical cabin.

The asset is sold 'as is,' with the buyer responsible for any necessary upgrades or compliance with current regulations.

Its energy performance index is 65.74 kWh/m³/year, classified as G.

Two-phase bidding process

The sale proceeds through a two-phase procedure.

Phase one requires interested parties to submit an 'expression of interest' in Italian by September 8, 2026.

This submission must include a presentation letter, a bank reference attesting to financial reliability, and self-declarations regarding eligibility.

Banca d'Italia reserves the right to conduct reputational checks and evaluate admissions to the subsequent phase.

Successful applicants will be notified by October 2026 and invited to submit an irrevocable purchase offer in phase two.

A provisional deposit of €160,000 is required with the offer, payable via non-transferable cashier's check, bank transfer, or irrevocable bank/insurance guarantee.

A strategic asset disposal
