Libraries preserve institutional memory

ABI and ACRI promote the national festival, which invites the public to discover cultural heritage held by banks and banking foundations.

The programme reflects their ties to local communities, places and history.

The Bank of Italy is participating again, this time with a particular focus on libraries.

It describes them as more than repositories for books: they preserve institutional memory and knowledge resources that help visitors understand the present and look to the future.

Open doors, reserved access

The programme offers access to cultural assets preserved within the bank's buildings.

Free admission removes the ticket cost, while reservations remain mandatory.

Its stated purpose is cultural discovery and institutional learning, with libraries at the center.
