The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a warning about KPH Advisory Services (Clone), an unauthorised firm operating a fraudulent website. The entity is not authorised to act as an investment firm in Ireland and is impersonating a legitimate firm.
Fraudulent entity impersonates legitimate firm
The Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) has issued a warning regarding KPH Advisory Services (Clone), an unauthorised investment firm operating in Ireland.
This fraudulent entity uses the website `https://kphadvisoryservices.com/`, the email address `[email protected]`, and the phone number `+353 1233 9412`.
The clone firm is not authorised by the CBI to provide investment services.
It is attempting to impersonate a legitimate, authorised firm, KPH Advisory Services Limited, by cloning its name, address, Central Bank of Ireland reference number, and CRO number.
The CBI confirms there is no connection between the legitimate authorised entity and this fraudulent clone.
Protecting against financial scams
The Central Bank advises the public to exercise caution when dealing with firms claiming to offer investment services.
Consumers should always verify a firm's authorisation status on the CBI's official register before engaging in any financial transactions.
Individuals with information on unauthorised firms are encouraged to contact the Central Bank by telephoning (01) 224 5800. For comprehensive guidance on protecting against financial scams, the public can visit `www.centralbank.ie/financialscams`.
The publication of KPH Advisory Services (Clone)'s name is made under section 53 of the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013, reinforcing the CBI's consumer protection mandate.
