VDNKh to appear on new 25 ruble Bank of Russia coin
The Bank of Russia will issue a new 25 ruble coin on June 30, 2026, featuring the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh). The coin commemorates the world's largest exposition and recreational complex in Moscow.
VDNKh's iconic landmarks on coin
The new 25 ruble coin, minted in proof quality with a mintage of 1.0 thousand pieces, will be legal tender.
Its obverse features the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, inscriptions 'RUSSIAN FEDERATION' and 'BANK OF RUSSIA', the denomination '25 RUBLES', and the year '2026'.
The reverse showcases a relief image of the Main Entrance Arch with the golden sculpture 'Tractor Driver and Collective Farm Woman' against a matte cloud background.
Pavilion No. 1 'Central' is depicted in the background, with 'VDNKh' and 'EXHIBITION OF ACHIEVEMENTS OF NATIONAL ECONOMY' inscribed around the circumference, surrounded by wheat ears.
The Saint Petersburg Mint produced the coin, which includes details on metal fineness and content.
