Larisa Pavlova, Head of the Bank of Russia's Volga-Vyatka Main Branch, will retire from her post on 30 January 2026 after over 40 years of service.
Four Decades of Service
Larisa Pavlova has served the Bank of Russia for over 40 years, holding various positions from an economist at the USSR State Bank branch to the Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch.
She was also a member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors.
Her extensive career highlights her deep expertise and dedication to the central bank, contributing significantly to its regional operations and broader governance.
Nabiullina Praises Leader, New Head Appointed
Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina praised Pavlova as a 'highly skilled professional and a brilliant organiser,' noting her unique ability to foster talent.

Vladimir Egorov has been appointed Acting Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch, taking over the leadership role.
