Fit and proper assessment session set for November 5
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) will hold an in-person session on fit and proper assessments on November 5, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:45 PM CET. Registration closes on November 2; the session will be in Dutch, with questions welcome in English.
Preparing for the assessment interview
DNB will explain who it assesses, what assessments cover, when they take place and how the process works.
The program covers preparation for assessments and assessment interviews, alongside recent developments in fit and proper assessments.
It targets prospective candidates, financial institution employees, advisors and law firm representatives involved in assessments.
Reception opens at 2:45 PM in DNB's auditorium, with arrival registration at reception.
A plenary session starts at 3:00 PM, followed by interactive, sector-specific breakout sessions for questions.
Participants must indicate their preferred breakout session on the registration form to help DNB organize the meeting.
Attendance without a recording
DNB published the announcement on October 12, 2026.
Participants can register through November 2, 2026, and submit questions on the form for discussion during the session.
DNB will send a calendar invitation in advance.
The session ends at approximately 4:45 PM CET, followed by drinks and light refreshments for further conversation.
DNB will neither livestream nor record the event, and participants may not record audio or video.
Questions about the event can be sent to toetsing.expertisecentrum@dnb.nl.
Preparation, not a rule change
The session gives candidates direct access to explanations of DNB's assessment process.
The announcement describes preparation and discussion rather than a change in assessment requirements.
With no livestream or recording, access to that discussion depends on attending in person.
