FCA announces Logic Investments Ltd enters special administration

Logic Investments Ltd, an FCA-authorised wealth management firm, entered special administration on January 16, 2026. Alex Watkins and Ed Boyle of Interpath Ltd were appointed as joint special administrators.

FCA concerns led to administration

Logic Investments Ltd was authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide wealth management services.

On December 16, 2025, the firm agreed to an FCA requirement preventing it from accepting new clients or moving client money or assets without FCA consent.

This measure was implemented due to concerns over the firm's financial position, with the aim of protecting clients.

The firm's directors subsequently concluded that Logic Investments was insolvent and applied to the court to place it into special administration.

Administrators to manage client claims

The joint special administrators, Alex Watkins and Ed Boyle, will manage client claims against Logic Investments and work to return client money and custody assets to clients where possible.

The FCA confirmed it will collaborate with the joint special administrators to seek the best possible outcome for clients.

Clients with questions about the process are advised to contact the administrators directly via email and to remain vigilant against potential scams.
