The Hong Kong Green Week 2026 will take place from 7 to 11 September under the theme 'Future-proofing Sustainable Growth'. Coordinated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, this third edition aims to drive Asia's sustainable transformation.

Conferences and dialogues for sustainable growth

The Hong Kong Green Week 2026, coordinated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, will convene from 7 to 11 September under the theme 'Future-proofing Sustainable Growth'.

As the third edition of the city's flagship sustainability event, it aims to inspire and drive collective actions towards Asia's sustainable transformation.

The programme is divided into a Main Programme, featuring large-scale conferences and forums for open dialogues across sectors and regions, and Satellite Events, which offer targeted discussions through roundtables, workshops, and seminars.

These events will explore six key thematic areas crucial for Asia's sustainable growth in an evolving global landscape.

Further details will be announced on the official event website.

Growing global participation

First launched in 2024, the Hong Kong Green Week quickly established itself as a key platform for global stakeholders to engage in dialogues and collaborations on sustainability.

The second edition in 2025 saw substantial growth, with 65 local and international institutions from both public and private sectors hosting over 40 multifaceted events.

These events successfully brought together more than 14,500 participants from over 75 jurisdictions.

This broad participation significantly elevated Hong Kong's status as a prominent hub for sustainability dialogues, showcasing its capacity to convene diverse expertise and drive the global sustainability agenda.
