IMF to present Swedish economy assessment
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will present its assessment of the Swedish economy at a press conference at the Riksbank on Wednesday, May 13. S. Pelin Berkman, head of the delegation, will detail the findings of the regular Article IV consultations.
Consultations with key stakeholders
The IMF delegation, led by Mission Chief S. Pelin Berkman, concludes its regular Article IV consultations in Sweden on May 13. During its visit, the delegation met with representatives from the Riksbank, the Ministry of Finance, Swedish banks, the Swedish National Debt Office, Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority), and social partners.
These meetings form part of the IMF's standard consultations with its member countries to assess economic conditions and provide policy advice.
