Banca d'Italia is selling a prominent mixed-use property in Alessandria's historic center, Piazza della Libertà 18/19. The complex, spanning five floors above ground plus a basement, offers a total commercial area of approximately 4,853 square meters.

This includes 2,874 sqm for commercial use (a bank unit, three offices) and 1,980 sqm for residential purposes (five apartments).

The property is legally declared of cultural interest under Legislative Decree no. 42/2024, imposing specific protection regulations.

Two-stage bidding process

The property sale follows a two-phase tender process.

Phase one requires interested parties to submit an 'expression of interest' by September 8, 2026.

Submissions, in Italian, must include a presentation letter, a bank reference, and self-declarations.

Banca d'Italia will evaluate these, conduct reputational checks, and notify successful applicants by October 2026.

In phase two, invited bidders submit an irrevocable purchase offer, at or above the €2,200,000 base price.

Each offer must include a provisional deposit of €220,000, payable via cashier's check, bank transfer, or bank guarantee.

Strict submission guidelines apply.
