Kisselevsky appointed Director General Secretariat at ECB
The European Central Bank has appointed Boris Kisselevsky as Director General Secretariat. He will assume his new role on November 1, 2026.
New leadership for Secretariat
Boris Kisselevsky, currently Head of the ECB Representative Office in Brussels, has been appointed Director General Secretariat, effective November 1, 2026.
He will succeed Petra Senkovic, who will become Director General Legal Services.
In his new capacity, Kisselevsky will be responsible for the strategic direction and staff management of the Directorate General Secretariat, and will represent the ECB on a range of internal and external committees and at high-level fora.
Extensive EU and international background
Since 2017, Mr Kisselevsky has headed the ECB Representative Office in the House of the Euro in Brussels, maintaining key EU institutional contacts.
A French national, he joined the ECB in 1998 as an economist.
His career includes management roles in international and media relations, secondments to the IMF and the Central Bank of Russia, and three years as Financial Counsellor at the French Treasury.
The Directorate General Secretariat steers decision-making, fosters knowledge sharing, and ensures good governance at the ECB.
