Court approves Argento Wealth fund distribution; investors act by Aug 1

The High Court has approved the pro rata distribution of money recovered by the Financial Conduct Authority from Argento Wealth Limited to eligible investors. Those investors must provide their bank details by 1 August 2026 to receive a share.

Defining eligible investors

To receive a share of the recovered funds, investors must have invested in the Argento Wealth Limited (AWL) Loan Scheme, or in the EMB Scheme if their investment was arranged by AWL or its sub-distributors.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will make pro rata payments to these eligible individuals, as defined in the court judgment.

Known eligible investors will be contacted directly by the FCA using existing contact details.

Appendices listing investor names are not being published for privacy reasons.

Action required by August 1

The critical deadline for providing bank account details or informing the FCA of an investment is 1 August 2026.

Payments cannot be made if this information is not received by the specified date.

If not previously contacted by the FCA, or if existing contact details have changed, investors should reach out as soon as possible.

Required information includes full name, current and investment-time addresses, details of the investment and total amount, and bank account information for payment.
