SRB announces procurement for 2026 summer all-staff event in Brussels
The Single Resolution Board (SRB) has initiated a negotiated procurement procedure to find a venue and comprehensive services for its 2026 summer all-staff event in Brussels. Economic operators interested in providing a full package for approximately 400 staff members must express their interest by April 13, 2026.
A comprehensive package for staff celebration
The Single Resolution Board is seeking a comprehensive event package for its summer all-staff gathering on June 4, 2026, from 17:30 to midnight.
The tender specifies a venue within 10 km of SRB premises, accessible by public transport, featuring both large outdoor and indoor areas suitable for approximately 400 people.
The outdoor space must offer weather protection and heating, furnished with seating.
The indoor area requires ample space for dancing and technical equipment.
The package includes catering for around 400 attendees, covering an aperitif, walking dinner, and an open bar.
Essential services such as sufficient event staff, DJ services, light and sound systems, adequate bathroom facilities, secured cloakrooms, full-day venue access for preparation, cleaning, waste management, and necessary licenses are also part of the tender.
The chosen venue must comply with all safety regulations and offer privatization options.
Navigating the negotiated procedure
This ex-ante publicity announces the SRB's intention to launch a negotiated procedure for a low or middle value contract, below the Directive threshold.
Economic operators established within the scope of EU treaties or international organizations are eligible to participate.
Interested parties must express their interest by sending an email to SRB-PROCUREMENT@srb.europa.eu by April 13, 2026, 15:00 Brussels time.
An expression of interest does not guarantee a contract award, and only invited candidates will receive the full tender specifications.
The SRB reserves the right to invite other operators and may choose not to launch or to cancel the procedure without compensation.
The maximum contract value for this event is set at 50,000.00 EUR.
Routine, yet crucial for morale
While seemingly a standard administrative announcement, this procurement highlights the SRB's commitment to internal cohesion and staff well-being.
Ensuring a well-organized event is vital for fostering a positive work environment and strengthening team dynamics within the institution.
Despite its routine nature, such operational tenders are fundamental to the smooth functioning and cultural health of any large organization.
